Privacy Policy
This policy covers browsing pages, reading documentation, and accessing download links on v2raydeb.com. It explains what data this site handles and where its services end.
This site provides guidance for getting V2Ray clients and configuring them. Website visits and client activity are separate. This policy does not replace the privacy information provided by clients, download providers, or subscription services.
1. Website Services and Data Collection
This is a static-content website with no account registration, sign-in, or email collection. You are not asked to provide identifying details such as your name or phone number. You can read guides, look up terminology, and view download links without submitting personal information.
When you visit a page, your browser sends a request to the server hosting the site. Requests typically include your IP address, the time of access, the requested path, browser identification, and possibly the referring page. The server or network infrastructure may log this information to deliver pages, investigate issues, and handle abusive requests. A static website can still generate server logs as you browse.
This site does not ask you to upload client configurations, node credentials, subscription links, or runtime logs. You do not need to enter real information into configuration examples and submit them to the site.
2. Website Analytics and How Data Is Used
This site uses analytics to understand page visits, referral sources, and frequently used links, and to record interactions such as switching download platforms. Analytics help improve content organization, identify broken links, and enhance page compatibility. They are not used to assess client connection quality.
Analytics records may include page paths, access times, device and browser types, referral information, and interaction names. Browser restrictions, failed script loads, and blocking tools can result in incomplete data. Analytics are used only to guide site maintenance.
This site does not read proxy traffic, node lists, or subscription details stored in a client. Website analytics and connection records inside a client come from separate sources.
3. Cookies and Browser Storage
Depending on how analytics are deployed, the analytics component may use cookies to distinguish visits or reduce duplicate counts. Page interactions may also use browser local storage to save essential preferences. Cookies and local storage remain in the browser you use to visit the site; do not store subscription credentials or client configurations in them.
The items stored depend on what your browser reports. Use your browser's site data settings to view, restrict, or delete this site's cookies and local storage, or block analytics scripts. Clearing data may reset preferences, while blocking scripts may affect navigation or tab interactions. Static page content remains available to read.
4. Download Sources and External Services
The download page links to installers for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. It retrieves file addresses from a same-origin download manifest. Download requests may be routed through this site's download path or redirected to the service hosting the files. The installers are not provided by the documentation pages themselves.
When you request an installer, the service hosting the file may receive your IP address, request time, browser identification, and other information needed to fulfill the request. That service determines how it records and handles this data. External links in our pages are subject to the destination service's policies once you leave this site.
How data is handled after a client is installed depends on its settings and the services it connects to. This site does not operate nodes or subscription services and cannot describe their data retention practices on their behalf.
5. Access Controls and Feedback
You can choose whether to run scripts, retain site data, or follow download links. On a shared device, clear your browsing history and site data when you are finished. Avoid sharing URLs containing subscription parameters or access credentials publicly.
This site has no account management or online submission form. For usage questions, start with the Getting Started guide. For configuration fields, see the JSON Manual. If you discuss an issue through another channel, remove subscription URLs, passwords, and personally identifying information first.
6. Policy Updates
This page may be revised if analytics methods, storage purposes, or download service workflows change. The date at the top of the page will be updated. Policy updates are published here and are not sent through account notifications or email subscriptions.
The revised policy is the version published on this page. Review it again before using the relevant features. This policy does not guarantee how external services may change their practices in the future.
